Last month we sent a team of 16 walkers to Canton Waterfront Park for the annual Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) charity 5k walk – Walk Like MADD Baltimore.
We walked side-by-side with hundreds of people from across Maryland to remember, inspire and commit to showing that ‘Drunk Driving Ends Here’.
There were some fantastic fundraising efforts with the event raising over $88,000 for MADD and we’re proud to say that CARCHEX ranked third among all the teams that participated, raising $7,646.
All in all, it was an incredibly positive and fun event for all of the family. It featured music, a silent auction, a visit from the Oriole bird, a raffle drawing, and not to mention the actual walk!
We look forward to next year’s Walk Like MADD event at Canton Waterfront Park in September 2017.
